Dr Jonathan Phan {MBBS UNSW, FRACGP}
Background – Dr Phan graduated from the University of NSW and has worked in general practice since 2007. He enjoys general practice as it gives him the opportunity to interact with patients of all ages and cultural backgrounds.
Special Interests – He has a keen interest in preventative health, looking after children and pregnant women.
Personal Interests – Outside of medicine he likes to spend time cooking and travelling.
Dr Renate Liong {MBBS, AMC, FRACGP}
Background – Dr Liong is a fellow of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). Dr Liong commenced her medical training at Giessen-Justus Liebig University, Germany and completed her GP training in Australia.
Personal Interests – She is fluent in English, Mandarin and Indonesian.
Dr Hanh Bui {BSc(Med), MBBS (UNSW), FRACGP}
Background - Dr Bui graduated from the University of New South Wales in 1994 and completed her fellowship GP training in 1998. She joins our practice from Macquarie Univerisity where she was a GP for more than 6 years. She has worked all over Sydney in her years as a GP.
Personal Interests - She is fluent in English and Vietnamese.
Dr Cleon Pinto {MBBS, FRACGP}
Background - Dr Pinto was awarded his MBBS from the University of Western Sydney in 2012 and has rotated through practices across Sydney. He is a fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners.
Special Interests - He is interested in Antenatal Shared Care and Paediatrics.
Personal Interests - Outside of work, he loves photography and travelling.
Dr Justin Surjadi {MBBS, FRACGP}
Background - Dr Surjadi graduated from Western Sydney University. He has also gained his fellowship with the Royal Austrailian College of General Practitioners.
Special Interests - He is interested in antenatal care, paediatrics, mens health and preventative health
Personal Interests - Outside of work Dr Surjadi enjoys playing board games and sports.
Background - Dr Yoon graduated from the University of NSW. She has also completed a Diploma in Child Health and a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Special Interests - She is interested in paediatrics, women's health, mental health and performing minor surgical procedures.
Personal Interests - Outside of work Dr Yoon enjoys art, AFL, travelling the world and exploring local food.
Dr Jason Ting {MBBS, BSc (Adv.), DCH}
Background - Dr Jason Ting graduated from the University of Sydney in 2013, where he held the University Outstanding Achievement Scholarship. He worked for 2 years at Royal North Shore Hospital and in pediatrics at Shoalhaven District Memorial Hospital.
Special Interests - Paediatrics, chronic disease management, preventative health and minor procedures.
Personal Interests - Outside of medicine, Jason enjoys tennis, running and playing his guitar.
Dr Arti Arora {AppSc (Phty) MBBS FRACGP DCH}
Background - Dr Arora is a graduate of the University of Sydney, where she also completed an undergraduate Physiotherapy degree. She completed her hospital training at the Royal North Shore Hospital and Ryde Hospital. Prior to joining us, she has worked in several General Practices across Sydney. Dr Arora is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and has completed a Diploma of Child Health. She is also a registered Antenatal Shared Care provider with Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Royal North Shore Hospital.
Special Interests - She enjoys all aspects of General Practice.
Personal Interests - Outside of work she loves spending time with her family, cooking, and enjoying nature.
Dr Ashok Doraiswamy {B.Com, MBBS, FRACGP, DCH}
Background - Ashok graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Commerce in 2008 and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery in 2012. Ashok attained his Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) in 2017, after undertaking training in the Blue Mountains, Bella Vista, Winston Hills and Auburn.
Special Interests - He enjoys all aspects of General Practice; however, he has a particular interest in paediatrics and has completed the Diploma of Child Health. Having recently moved to the North Shore, Ashok is passionate about delivering outstanding health care and giving back to his local community as a family doctor.
Personal Interests - When he is not working, Ashok enjoys photography, travelling with his wife and playing the guitar.
Dr Stephanos Eliades {MD}
Background - Dr Stephanos Eliades completed his Doctor of Medicine degree (MD) from Semmelweis University of Medicine, Budapest in 2001. He has worked in Emergency Medicine in Australia (over 11 years) predominantly at Royal North Shore and Hornsby Hospitals, and also worked in the UK (6 years) before training in general practice.
Special Interests - Dr Eliades special interests include Men’s Health (45-49 yo health checks), children’s health, emergency presentations and sporting and other injuries. He speaks fluent English and Greek.
Personal Interests - outside work, he enjoys spending time with his family, listening to music, computers, technology and travel.

Allied Health

Matthew Craig – Exercise Physiologist {B.AppSci(Exercise Physiology), AEP, AES}
Background – Matthew is an ESSA ( Exercise & Sport Science Australia) accredited Exercise Physiologist and Exercise Scientist. He graduated from the University of Sydney. He is very experienced in Strength, Conditioning and Rehab.
Interests – Matt has a special interest in all areas of exercise physiology and rehabilitation, specifically Musculoskeletal rehabilitation particularly ACL and Shoulder. He works with Chronic back pain and Cardiovascular disease implementing specific exercise management practices.
Personal Interests –  Matt enjoys playing basketball, travelling and exercising.
Michelle Theodosi- Dietitian {Master of Nutrition and Dietetics(USYD), Bachelor of Science (Psychology and Physiology)}
Background – Michelle is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian, Sports Dietitian and Owner of The Lifestyle Dietitian, a Sydney based private practice with a focus on sustainable health behaviour change. Michelle is one of a handful of Dietitian’s in Australia with qualifications in both Dietetics and Psychology. Using her foundations in Psychology, Michelle helps motivate her clients towards behaviour change and find realistic and sustainable solutions through nutrition to reach their individual goals; whether it be improving gastrointestinal symptoms, sporting performance, body composition or managing a medical condition.
Special Interests – Michelle has experience working across a number of specialised clinics in Sydney and is experienced working with clients towards reversing and reducing the long term effects of chronic diseases such as; T2DM, insulin resistance, PCOS, hypercholesterolaemia, hypertension and metabolic syndrome. In addition to this Michelle completed her research thesis at the RPAH allergy unit and has a strong interest in gut health and working with clients to reduce gastrointestinal symptoms and improve gut function. Michelle is also an Accredited Sports Dietitian and loves working with athletes to improve their performance through nutrition. Michelle has a hunger for learning and is committed to continuing to provide the most up to date, evidence based interventions, which is so important in a constantly evolving area such as dietetics.
Personal Interests – With a love of food and passion for cooking, in her spare time Michelle enjoys experimenting with new recipes, being active outdoors and teaching piano. She believes that health should not be a limiting factor for anybody, and loves that she gets to help others make this a reality everyday.
Patrick Kubel- Physiotherapist {Masters in Physiotherapy (USYD), Ba in Exercise and Sport Science (UWS), Ba in Clinical Rehabilitation (USYD)}
Background - Patrick graduated with a Masters in Physiotherapy from the University of Sydney in 2012, with previous degrees in Exercise & Sport Science (UWS) and Clinical Rehabilitation (USYD). Patrick has over 10 years' experience in rehabilitation and injury management. He has worked as a qualified Personal Trainer in a gym based setting as well as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist in the Occupational Health Industry. He has worked with elite level athletes including the NSW Men and Women's Volleyball teams. Having attended numerous seminars and conferences around the world, Patrick is up to date with the latest research and best practice to ensure your health related goals are achieved in the most effective manner.
Special Interests - Combining ideologies from both Eastern and Western philosophy, Patrick provides a patient-centered approach to healthcare that empowers his patients to make effective decisions to achieve an optimal recovery. He advocates an active approach to rehabilitation and facilitates natural healing processes of the human body. Key areas include Postural Pain, Sporting Injuries, Chronic (Persistent) Pain, Occupational Injuries and Musculo-Skeletal Pain.
Personal Interests - In his spare time, Patrick enjoys reading philosophy, keeping fit and composing music.
Jessica MacDonald- Physiotherapist {Bachelor Applied Science(Exercise&Sports)2007-09, Master of Physiotherapy 2011-2012}
Background - Jess graduated with Masters of Physiotherapy in 2012 from the University of Sydney, and also completed undergraduate study in Exercise and Sport Science in 2007. Jess has also undertaken further training in Dry Needling and Shoulder courses. The goal of her treatment is to combined Physiotherapy and Exercise management to achieve a long term change.
Special Interests - Having had a variety of sporting injuries over the years, Jess has a particular interest in the in-depth analysis of the causes of injuries, looking at the patient holistically and viewing the person as a whole, not just focusing on the injury area.
Personal Interests - Outside of work Jess enjoys watching sport, going out for dinner and travelling.
Andrew Roy – Physiotherapist {B.Science (Psych, Phil), B.App. Science (Kines), M.Physiotherapy, MAPA}
Background - Andrew graduated with a Masters in Physiotherapy from the University of Sydney in 2012, with previous degrees in Psychology (UNSW) and Kinesiology (SFU, Canada). Andrew has varied experience in the world of Physiotherapy and injury management, he has worked in Private Practices in both Australia and Canada as well as Nursing Homes, Occupational Health and various sporting teams. Having completed numerous courses such as Dry Needling, Shoulder and Hip pain, Facial Mobility. Andrew utilizes a wide variety of techniques to suit each patient's needs. Andrew approaches patients in a holistic manner, looking at the whole biomechanical chain to determine the causal factors of an injury not just treating the area of pain.
Special Interests - Key areas of interest include shoulder, knee and acute or chronic spinal pain.
Personal Interests -  When not in the clinic Andrew is likely to be found chasing his three young children around the parks or beaches of Sydney!
Denise Parkes – Psychologist {Master of Psychology (Clinical)}
Background - Denise is a Clinical Psychology Registrar who enjoys working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. She has a range of clinical experience treating mood and anxiety disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder, behavioural concerns, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, autism spectrum disorder, and sleep issues. She obtained a Master of Psychology (Clinical) at Western Sydney University.
Special Interests - Denise is passionate about identifying her clients’ personal strengths and building upon these to help facilitate changes they need in order to live their lives fully. Her approach is client centred, with treatment individually targeted to suit each client. Above all she is committed to working alongside her clients, prioritising rapport and a strong therapeutic relationship. She is enthusiastic, fun, and friendly, and values helping every client move in a direction that is consistent with their values and goals.
Denise draws on evidenced based approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Schema Therapy, and EMDR.
Erika Hung- Dietitian {Ba Nutrition and Dietetics}
Background – Erika is a qualified accrediting dietitian at The Lifestyle Dietitian. She is experienced in managing a range of health conditions through diet and lifestyle change, in particular chronic diseases such as T2DM, heart disease and weight management. She has grown a strong interest in plant-based nutrition and gut health.
Special Interests – With a passion for continuous learning, Erika is committed to ensuring she is up-to-date with the latest evidence in the ever-evolving field of nutrition. Erika enjoys translating the complex scientific nutrition information into personalised, easy-to-digest and practical advice for patients.
Personal Interests – In her spare time, Erika enjoys getting outdoors, taking long walks and finding new cafes to enjoy food with her family and friends. She believes the social settings ans the people we enjoy food with are equally important as the nutrients within the food we eat. She carries this belief through in her practice as a Dietitian.
Naim Bireroglu – Podiatrist {BHLTHSC, MPODMED}
Background - Naim has completed a Bachelor of Health Science/Mastering in Podiatric Medicine from the University of Western Sydney. His experience covers all scopes of podiatric care including bio-mechanical, chronic disease, pediatric and general podiatry. He has worked in many different settings including mobile podiatry, high risk in public hospital setting both local and internationally as well as having extensive private practice podiatry experience. His love of sports (including basketball and power-lifting amongst many other sports) has also fueled his interest in sports bio-mechanics in which is his most experienced scope of practice.
Special Interests -Naim specialises in Sports bio-mechanics and Chronic Disease Management.
Personal Interests Outside of work, Naim enjoys playing basketball, power-lifting and traveling.

Practice Staff

Maria – Practice Nurse
Maria has been with our wonderful team at Gordon 7 Day Medical Centre for a few years now. Maria has a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy and a Bachelor's degree in Nursing. She worked in an Emergency Department for 5 years. Her interests include injury management and preventative care. She thoroughly enjoys her work as a practice nurse, especially treating our young patients.
Nikki- Practice Manager
Nikki has worked in Medical Administration for 9 years and has completed her bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Macquarie University.
In her spare time she enjoys organising family events, long scenic walks, meeting new people and exploring new places.
Rachel – Receptionist
Rachel has recently joined our practice early last year as our new medical receptionist. She has several years of administrative experience in the health and education industry. In her free time she enjoys travelling and preparing delicious meals for her family.
Ella – Receptionist
Ella joined our wonderful team at Gordon 7 Day Medical Centre 3 years ago. Ella is currently studying Medical Science at the University of Technology, Sydney. In her free time she enjoys walks, reading, good food and travelling.
Alex – Receptionist
Alex joined our wonderful team at Gordon 7 Day Medical Centre 2 years ago. She is currently studying Bachelor of Arts at the University of Sydney. Her hobbies include learning to sing opera and nurturing her beloved cats.
Laura – Receptionist
Laura joined our wonderful team at Gordon 7 Day Medical Centre 2 years ago. She has moved here from Canberra to be with her family and is currently completing her Bachelor of Commerce in Finance & Economics at the University of Sydney. Laura's hobbies include travelling with her family and exploring new places.
Stacey – Receptionist
Stacey is our part-time receptionist who outside her work life is completing a Bachelor's degree in Social Work. Keeping the work-life balance, she enjoys traveling and spending time at the beach.
